"Portret met garnaalkroket" (Portrait with scrimp croquette") is a unique book of photographs with 47 portraits and associated still lifes, as illustration of my vision of Belgium through its cultural scene. The number of artists and the high quality of their work immediately impressed me.

The importance of food in the Belgian society is also something that I found striking. Both aspects form a leitmotiv in this very atypical, eclectic book concerning Belgium, Belgium artists, their tastes and pleasures.
