Beyond Borders. Isabel Miquel Arqués in dialogue with Karen Blixen is published by Ludion and is part of a trilogy that is an artistic dialogue between me and three female icons : Karen Blixen, Virginia Woolf and Georgia O'Keeffe. In the first part of this trilogy, I links my own life to that of the Danish writer Karen Blixen by means of photographs, screen prints and short fragments of prose and poetry, interweaving the impressions that I gathered in Blixen's house, world, novels and biography into a new story of poetic images.

This art book was officially presented together with an exhibition on March 20, 2022 at Geukens & De Vil Gallery in Antwerp.

I presented the book in an artist’s talk and conversation with Catherine Lefebvre, who is the Head of the Danish-Swedish Art Foundation and former director of the Karen Blixen Museum in Copenhagen.
